Our company was officially founded in 1960, although construction took place as early as 1956 with a vision of setting a new standard of excellence in the log home industry. To achieve that vision we have been working diligently to provide our customers with quality log structures that stand the test of time. Today, three generations later, Northwoods Log Homes is recognized within the industry as a leader in both innovation and quality of construction. This is a reputation we plan to keep. We do not strive to be the largest distributor of log structures in the universe. We do strive to make all of our clients feel they have been well served by a solid team of professionals. We also strive to use grace and mercy as bedrock for our operational guidelines and our faith.

This team includes our designers, sales staff and plant crew. Our workers are all year 'round employees who are experienced and skilled in their trade. Creating precision engineered log structures is what they do. Most have worked at Northwoods Log Homes for many years, and our product reflects this stability at the manufacturing level.

Our homes are milled from native red pines or western cedars. We have several models available for viewing, including some that are over 40 years old. We would love to show them to you.
