First we teach you about our product. A visit to Northwoods Log Homes begins with a series of consultations that introduces the client to our product line and manufacturing techniques. This stage may include a site visit to examine your home's setting.

Then we help you plan your home. As you learn more about our product, we begin to learn about you. Starting with either a sketch or plan you provide, or by choosing one of our over 1,000 previously produced designs, our planners work with you, using your personality and life-style to shape the spaces in your home unique to your needs. By the end of this stage you will know the total project cost and time-line for the production of your home. You also know how we work with clients and how we use our commitment to excellence to give clients extra value for their investment.

Next we help you find a builder. Yes, some assembly is required. The good news is Northwoods Log Homes has 50 years of general contracting services. We work closely with quality builders who are knowledgeable about our product and skilled in building log structures. These builders offer competitive prices and bring extra value to the process through their experience with our product. While we provide all facets of construction management for many of our building projects, we will also work directly with you or with a builder of your choosing. Our homes are carefully designed and precision milled to ensure efficient and accurate assembly by qualified builders or do it yourselfers who have appropriate construction skills.

Finally, we make sure that you wear flannel. In the end it comes down to this: your new home will give you a lot of opportunities to wear feel-good clothes. Can life get any better than that?
